Again, brassily
and insolently, neo-Nazism raises a head in Greece – in the country
celebrated for its heroic struggle against Italian and German fascism
in the years of Second World War. The suit of Neo-Nazi Party Golden
Dawn against EEK leader Savas
Michail-Matsas and Professor Konstantinos Moutzuris, former dean
of Athens Polytechnic University is a hard confirmation of this
observation.
This suit with
the accusations EEK, comrades Matsas and Moutzuris in the
“instigation to the violence”, in the “disturbance of civil
peace” is the example of hypocritical demagogue going out from
party usual slogans of which are: “foreigners – go home!” and
“Greece – for Greeks!”, from the party leader of which Nikolaos
Mikaloliakos had already the conviction for bomb heaving in
cinema-theatres demonstrated a left regisseuers’ films. And other
leadership members of Golden Dawn
were been also convicted for penal offences. And Greek court takes
this suit against the internationalists, against the defenders of all
Greek working people interests. Really, Greece is running mad (?!)
I’m
protesting against persecution the anti-fascists Savas Matsas and
Konstantinos Moutzuris, the fighters against budget cuts and measures
of hard austerity, against mass poverty and unemployment, against the
source of these problems that there are in the System itself. Coming
trial – even it will be performed into not true, shameful
judicatory over Matsas and Moutzuris – will be undoubtedly the
political victory of these Greek left movement outstanding
representatives over dark neo-fascist forces.
For united left and
unions front in crisis-ridden Greece!
Non to new
dictatorship regime in Greece!
